In Guest Services at the dealership I was hired on as a cashier. At the dealership cashiering system was different It's more of computer lit work. I love to learn new thing on the computer. I have learned somewhat of writing up tickets for customer like an adviser but I was not a adviser. I made sure the customer left out happy and satisfied. I also checked out loaner vehicles and we handled more newer vehicles and we had to make sure everything was good with loaners at all times and everything had to be accounted for. As far as the cashiering I always made sure all the money was accounted for. I also scheduled appointments for customers and made sure everything was ready for the next day. As for checking out customers I also handle the keys for vehicles that are ready and to be worked on. I have trained multiple cashiers also and they all tell me I'm a wonderful person and I make the job look so easy. And I am still learning newer things at my job now Auto Nation has new things every day but then I am in service so I learn newer things about cars and service every day. I have learned how to wrote up vehicles for service. I have also learned how to write up PO's for vendors to get paid. I also know how to look over warranty tickets for oil change contracts. I can also do the schedules for Accounts Receivable. Basically I am finding money that a service admin closed out and money was not collected but closed to an account. There are times I am finding things from months that no one else could find. Such as Mopar warranty, Third party extended warranty, oil change warranty (contracts) and AutoNation warranty. As far as being the Rental car associate I would not only be in charge of the loaners for the dealership, but I would get the reservations and payments for Enterprise as well.

Cashiering my duties were to check out customers apply coupons/discounts. Have a smile on my face and count the money. A couple months after I learned how to do Customer Service where I learned handling bigger bills and more patience with taking care of customers needs. As a Customer Service/Cashier we had to meet a certain SPH number, number of scans per item, my number was the highest. A couple more months after Customer Service I then trained to being a Customer Service Manager I loved the job, and helping people is one of the biggest things I love to do just to make than happy. As Customer Service Manager I was to be over 50 registers. Yes it was a lot but I love a good challenge and learning newer competitive things. I also trained new cashiers and Customer Service.
