OBJECTIVE

My objective in a job is to be able to bring my skills learned from the United States Army as well as skills learned while earning my bachelor’s degree. I have strong team lead skills as well as teamwork skills. I would like to find a company that I can demonstrate all these skills in.

Key duties and responsibilities at Sea-lap would be to run and maintain machines while completing customers’ orders that could contain anywhere from 40 parts to 1,300 parts which could convert to over thousands of dollars for the company in a quarter. While we are a small company we have high standards to meet with customers since their parts are important pieces of larger machines such as rockets, military equipment and machines that other companies use everyday and rely on.

Open store and prep for the upcoming day as well as over seeing the day-to-day operations of the store. Created a teamwork environment in the time I was there to help things run more efficiently and help boost sales and decrease the complaints.

United States Army August 2006-September 2015

While serving in the Army I learned a lot of teamwork skills as well as leadership skills. I also learned a lot about Technology and information systems. I completed training with NATO, multi-channel transmission systems, operator & maintainer course and other training courses. I did two tours one in Afghanistan and one in Iraq during the time I was serving and have earned medals during my time as well.

During my time with Trident, I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology Management. I was on the Dean’s list five semesters in a row and graduated with a GPA of 3.0.

I graduated from Gabrielino High School with a 3.6 GPA. Here I was a member of the FBLA program.

LEADERSHIP

As a Sargent with the United States Army I was responsible for my unit both on base at home as well as during deployment. Most of my soldiers liked that I didn’t just tell them what to do but was in the trenches so to speak with them.
