Personal Statement
Introduced to reading at an early age, it is my first true passion! Not only was a deep appreciation for the
written word ignited, but I sincerely came to enjoy the real exploration opportunities books offer. Also,
because I desire to preserve the almost limitless book genres, I am a self-described bibliophile!
I got into gaming in my teens and see it as a visual extension of reading in that it allows me to interact with worlds outside of my "mind's eye" and fulfill roles in the adventures. As a result of gaming, I have had the
pleasure of participating in world-wide events as a commentator on the gaming platform Twitch! I've also formed lasting bonds with other gamers from around the world!
Simply put, my humanitarianism can be captured in the quote by Debasish Mridha: “Love is my religion,
