Title : Installing a 300ft return belt, 35degree alignment rollers and a shaker Description : thing we have to do is job prep we had to use the JSA JSA means job safety analysis sheet basically we had to map out what we were going to do before we even touched any tools the crew was a nine-man crew we had two man lifts we had a forklift and we had 1 Crane we have to install 50 rollers that was 30 35 degree rollers and 20 return rollers meaning that the belt was going to loop around a tail pulley and loop around ahead Polly and connect in the middle so you had a topside in a return side now we have for men in charge of re-installing the rollers and a five-man crew in charge of installing the belt and Vulcanizing the belt together Vulcanizing is when you melt two Plastics or two materials together I was in charge of the four-man crew putting on a return rollers and prep so we had Sandown most of the I beams that was on the structure because most of it was corroded I had to weld most of the i-beams it was a two-week project and it was completed on time the most challenging part of the job was to reweld most of the corrosion that was in the structure but it was done properly and on time Duration : 3 months/ job prep two weeks
