Ms. Nelson is a highly capable and adaptable Research Associate, proficient in environmental management projects, fieldwork, team planning, and training activities. Currently volunteering as a Research Assistant at the Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute (KMFRI), she has five years of experience in mangrove research, water quality, ocean acidification, and marine litter along the Kenyan coastline, as well as GIS and remote sensing. Her extensive experience in trainings includes Ocean Teachers Global Academy on fair principals and leading marine litter courses. Nelson is innovative, confident, self-motivated, and dedicated to achieving impactful results through teamwork.
