Morning starts off helping customers with the products they have purchased. Most the the time this required a forklift, or grabbing a cart and pulling them from the shelfs in are warehouse. We used scanner guns or laptops to find what would be stocked in are inventory . Report to the floor manager if we had issues finding product or its not in stock.

At the warehouse was a constant moment of product because of space, mid through the day would be pulling orders in a timely matter to be loaded on to are trucks. Unloading trucks in the 2nd part and to do so, the floor manager would give me a locations in the warehouse to move product and enter the products into are WMS system. We are trained to have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Office and Outlook. Making changes daily do to product consumption by my pick orders. Damaged products would be marked and reported to floor management. As far as inventory goes, i would stay after work for overtime to have are team work together and match what is in are system. Corrections are made in a timely matter, this process would take up to 5-6 hours. We are trained to maintain are forklifts, grease forks, check propane for the next day and topping off the battery's with water to keep a longer charge.

Safety has to be the biggest factor of this job, most of the time you are working and moving at a fast pace . Using your horn and paying attention to your environment is key. Taking a 2nd look on and off the forklift to check if the product is stacked or loaded on a shelf safely. Turning on the forklift headlights when needed and make sure your not gonna blind the other forklift drivers.

End of the day, we go over what tomorrow will bring and assign tasks for proper efficiency for that day. Kicker / Filler /Forklift

Central Welding Supply Inc-Marysville, WA

Filling Gas cylinders, QC for those cylinders and forklift operator. My day starts with getting racks of cylinders off are trucks and sorting them to there proper gas line . Checking dates and damage in the process before bringing the type of line to be inspected by the filler them self's for a 2nd pare of eyes. (kicker Role ) Forklift Role- Pulling orders from the office and taking what we have in the yard and loading them on the trucks. I also have to grab the orders from the employees that are pulling single orders for that store order.

Trucks come back and I unload the truck and take the cylinders inside the warehouse to be processed by the (kickers). Throughout the day I'm expected to also grab rack's of cylinders from the buildings that have painted or maintained the cylinder to spec to be filled again. Filler- Lining up cylinders on the fill line to be filled and racked in a timely matter. In this process i have to check dates and the condition of the cylinder to determine if the bottle it self is safe to start filling. As for the filling process, lines must be checked in a timely matter. Once lines have been filled to the proper PSI, then cylinders are racked up.
