Machinists / Glaciers Garlock Bearings
Set up and operate grinding machines to grind fiberglass tubes to specifications of job orders. Specs included inside diameters, outside diameters, and TIR wall thicknesses of tubes. I had to fill orders, cut the tubes after specs were made, and then clean the cut parts to complete a piece’s order. Also started with the company as quality control inspector of the batch orders, assuring all orders met their desired specs as indicated on each order. I also worked on the metal back side of the facility.

Quality Control / J & J Snack Corp.
Perform daily quality control inspections, and all quality research and development for the entire facility. Daily inspections consisted of: Inspecting mixer stations to ensure that the mixers were using all the necessary ingredients to complete a mix. Inspection of all production lines to assure that workers were handling and packaging the product correctly. Took/Baked samples of all finished product to see if it passed visual, and written specs. If a product did not pass an inspection, the batch was to be rejected, tagged, and placed on hold until further research was completed on the batch. Performed daily floor checks to assure that all mixers were following standard operations procedures. I had to write a quality control manual that showed these procedures step by step. I also had to keep a daily logbook of all spread sheets of passed and rejected batches.
