Working as the project manager for IGO at the Cosmos project. I was involved with developing and completing several projects at COSMOS within NPI, such as upgrading and refurbishment of a series of Tailings dams, new site laboratory, new fuel farm, and power plant (26 MW) and new road network.
Had a site manager to work with me and engineering support from head office, and an design engineering consultant company to assits with the engineering.
MT Hojgaard
Worked as the regional manager for MT Hojgaard in the Maldives, help grow the business 500 % over 2-3 years and then maintenaned that level of revenue.
Was very successful in diversifying our core civil skills with other construction related services.
Republic Engineers
Started republic engineers with some people from Singapore and Maldives, and we quickly got projects, within the first month of operation we signed 1 resort contract worth 25 million USD, and others soon followed we quickly got to a annual revenue of 25-30 million USD in Maldives.
We also developed projects in Malysia, mainly quarries, asphalt plant and concrete.

Working as a back-to-back project lead for Warrikal at their MESA A and J firewater project. The project is about 25 million dollars of retrofitting a firewater system to the existing plant at both Mesa A and Mesa J mining facilities.

Working on the COSMOS projects I have been working on different projects from feasibility to production, having been involved with a new solar farm project. I was also managing several other projects such as a camp upgrade and expansion, new fuel farm, power station upgrade of (26 MW), and the raising of a tailings dam on site, with more than 300,000 m3 of materials moved.
I was also involved with upgrading dewatering systems and water storage as well as wastewater treatment plants and internal infrastructure. However, the project has been put into care and maintenance.

Working with SX 5 I started at the tail end of a project Rio Tino at West Angeles, installing the Res Dev office. From there we went onto Western Range projects, which stalled due to some design issues.

Working as the senior civils lead, I was responsible for the civil work package for the ROM 4 project as well as responsible for Civil works across multiple other work packages, such as the Electrical and Mechanical packages and None Processing Infrastructure packages. I was involved with the development of new mining infrastructure such as a bridge for the Marble bar road, and autonomous mining equipment and the development of an electric mining fleet.
Re Developed the Nullagine road with Main Roads, to allow dump trucks to pass below the MRWA road, this included building a bridge and realigning the road, also looked at upgrading the Nullagine road/ Marble bar road from Roy Hill mine site to the McPhee Minesite.

Project Manager/ Bid Manager
Working as the Project manager, I was responsible for the civil work package for the within the group from in house projects to subcontract work for Rio Tinto and other mining clients.
I was tasked with evaluating the civil engineering projects, and their designs, specification, review of scope of work and method statements etc. Several dam projects for both water storage and tailings. Road repairs and asphalting of the roads in Tom Price.
I was responsible for evaluation of all civil engineering sub contracts and designs packages, as well as final sign of for all civil related TQ’s and resolution of and civil related technical issues raised. I was responsible for the selection of civil and structural engineering consultants and designers as well as civil sub-contractors.
April 2018- Dec 2019 MARAMARA/ AK EVANS JV Perth, WA
Construction company based in Port Hedland WA, mainly focusing on maintenance work for BHP Iron Ore, Atlas Iron and FMG and local council.
Bid and Construction Manager
Appointed as the Bid Manager for MARAMARA an Indigenous own and operated company based in Port Hedland and Their other partner AK Evans Earthmoving, Bid estimating and submitted bids, and managed our projects in the fields such as Port Hedland road maintenance and upgrades as well as minor works for the Shire of Ashburton, and Pilbara. Further to this we have started doing a large water dam for FMG, about 350 m long by 300 m wide and 8 m deep. Do road repairs for MRWA in the Kimberlie’s near Broome.
Furthermore, we worked on several renewable energy projects such as the Nevertire Solar farm in QLD, a solar farm at Granny Smith Gold mine, Chinchester solar farm form FMG and another 3 projects being negotiated.
June 2016 -2018 April Republic Engineers Maldives
I started Republic engineers with some partners from Singapore and Maldives, The company mainly did work outside Singapore like projects in Maldives and Malaysia
General Manager
Appointed as General manager for Republic Engineers, we quickly gained a foothold in both Malysia and Maldives.
In the Maldives we won 2 new resort projects Magau and lux Male North resort, which both was more than 20 million usd each. Besides from this we also won 3 large residential towers for one of the partners, as his company was developing property in the Maldives. Besides from these projects the company also developed several real estate projects of its own with financial back from Singapore and we also started operating and upgrading our own resort called Cana reef.
In Malaysia, we got into quarry and mining operations and took out a quarry near Johor from where we could supply sand and aggregates to Singapore and Brunei.
We also looked into a few mining projects in Malaysia and a asphalt plant.
Nov 2013 to 2016 June MT Hojgaard Maldives
MTHojgaard Pvt Ltd is a branch of a larger Danish general contractor, In the Maldives MTH is known for their resort and heavy civils works, and is one of the leading contractors in the Maldives.
Regional Manager
Appointed as the regional Manager for the Maldives I helped raise the total revenue from 10 million USD to almost 50 million USD so a increase of more than 400% without reducing profit margins
During my time in the Maldives, we won and managed about 44-45 projects all with some kind of marine works and concrete works as the main scope, generally with values of 3 to 25 million USD is size with the odd resort/hotel project and 1 airport project of 35 million USD. We had a win rate of almost 60% with most projects awarded based on reputation and relationship with the clients.
Managed 2-3 project managers, oversaw their reports, forecast, did department forecast, annual financial reports to the Danish stock exchange as we were a Danish owned and operated company, had people from Ernest and Young assisting me with these reports. Also, hands on involved with several of the projects, and did several contract negotiations with the Maldives Government.
Mar 2012 to 2013 September Pacific Industrial Company
PIC is a large steel fabrication and erection company based in Henderson near Naval base. With a long and rich history of doing the most complicated projects in WA.
Construction Manager
I worked as a construction manager for PIC building 26 large tanks at the Tropicana mine site and eventually also the rest of the process plant, both wet and dry. This included a HPGR, Cone Crushers, Gyro crusher, and all the piping needed. Did the project planning, daily hand on management of the work etc.
May 2011 to Mar 2012 Downer Australia Christmas Creek (FMG)
Downer EDI signed a 6-year contract valued at AUD 3B with FMG for the provision of mining services at its Christmas Creek operation in August 2010.
Project Manager
Appointed as the Project Manager on this multi-stage project to build more than 26 km of dirt access roads, including drainage channels and causeways that was cement stabilized we furthermore helped Downer mining with, temporary workshops, offices and utilities for the initial works and earthworks for the ore processing plant. I also managed the load and haul of overburden over about 800 hectares of the lease.
I also worked on the road upgrades and re sealing of 6 and 7 Mile Project (Loco workshop Karratha) for Rio Tinto as well as part of the civil works for the Rio Tinto train electrification projects near Karratha.
May 2010 to May 2011 Decmil Karntama Camp
Decmil is a civil contractor with more than 30 years history delivering services to the oil & gas and resources industries.

Appointed to manage the earthworks (300,000 m3 of dirt) and construction of two 800 room camp, a 1600 man kitchen, 5 MW diesel power plant, central facilities including a swimming pool and gym, cinema, shops etc.
It included about 3 Km of seal access road and large none sealed carpark, large ponds, concrete footpads and sports courts and internal maintenance roads. I managed a team of engineers, supervisors etc, where I looked after forecasting, planning, resources, sub-contracting etc.

Construction manager Multiple resource projects
Worked as the construction manager on several projects for John Holland, both civil and marine. The projects ranged from Rail expansion projects for BHP, which involved piled foundations, 5 km of rail formation, borrow pits and making our own precast pre tensioned bridge girders each about 95 metric Ton. To bulk earth works for a gas plant moving 1.5 m3 and doing more than 40,000 m3 of reinforce concrete foundations the project also contained a series of dams and water storage ponds.
Project Manager RGP3 Berth 3 and 4 (BHP Billiton Iron Ore)
Managed removing the demobilization and of 9 mooring piles left over from RGP3 Project at the Port of Port Headland, complete the project in 2 weeks. Project value was only a few Million but could just as well have been 100 million dues to the complexity and restriction of the project.
