Chief People and IDEA Officer (Contract)

•Spearheaded the 2022-2023 annual benefits enrollment by strategizing and negotiating with Marsh McLennan Agency on a comprehensive benefits package with less than a 2% medical renewal, carrier change from Guardian to Lincoln on dental/vision/LTD/EAP. Implemented an FSA rollover cap, changed medical plan to include HSA tie in, and added on Commuter Benefits/Transit FSA.

•Set up the new benefits deduction codes and premium rates in Paycom during benefits open enrollment.

•Facilitated manager and staff training in late March 2022 thru EAP provider in providing on site/zoom trainings on conflict resolution, and dealing with difficult employees, in support of professional and career development.

•Defined and lead talent sourcing strategy to recruit talented and diverse candidates for lead roles at the museum, filling several roles within the first 90 days.

Senior HR Manager/Senior HR Business Partner

Responsible for implementation of this international publishing company’s HR Strategy in the areas of employee relations, workforce planning, talent acquisition and development. Act as a Business Partner to line managers in Sales, Technology and Operations on performance management, while working in collaboration with the global HR team on various HR projects and initiatives. Grew an HR Department from the ground up for a local media/telecom organization and in overseeing 160 employees in the U.S. Increased human capital by hiring 140 employees in my first 2.5 years with the company, to meet company demand for growth and development; saving the company over $750,000 in recruiting fees (and over $1M with referrals included).

•Spearheaded the entire conversion implementation in leaving a PEO to be centralizing all services (payroll/benefits/HR/workers compensation) back in house.
