Optimizing Financial Performance through Data-Driven Insights and Predictive Modeling in the Insurance Sector- FAMPRO LLC, Brownsville, TX I analyzed marketing and sales data, focusing on profitability and strategic decision-making, using Excel and Python for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling. My projects included developing predictive earnings models using historical insurance policy data, identifying March as a benchmark for monetary goals, and creating a control system for financial planning. I used Python to compute six monetary goal suggestions based on policy combinations and incorporated future profit predictions into financial forecasts, calculating potential profitability for each suggestion to provide data-driven recommendations. I applied my proficiency in Excel and Python for data analysis, statistical modeling, and predictive analytics, and honed strategic planning and problem-solving skills to navigate variable commission structures and premium costs. Despite challenges like managing diverse policy types and data variability, I implemented a control system for monetary goals, enhancing Fampro's strategic decision-making and financial strategy. This experience advanced my understanding of market dynamics, financial forecasting, and the insurance industry, while strengthening my ability to articulate data insights to stakeholders, ultimately contributing significantly to Fampro's efficiency and financial performance. International Baccalaureate Score Projection Rating System, IDEA Brownsville, TX Used IB published global release data which identifies what scores most likely correlate to the performance of students in a class. Centralized this data, and built a specific model that helped teachers project the outcome of their student’s grades and the likelihood of their attainment of the IB standards. The model I produced was built to address two main biases: First, the global release data is a general model that is not representative of the students we serve in the classroom, and utilizes long-term historical data. As a result, I used a localized model that implemented a calculated bias to account for the results of more recent students from our region and their success. My model significantly reduced the error rate of the older model. Localized Model Error Rate at 5%
