Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise both Engineer and the Contractor throughout the entire process, from the design phase to the on-site execution of all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Fire Protection (MEPF)-related works of Four Underground Stations, Interstation tunnels, Depot and its Facilities, and Philippines Railway Institute, including evaluation of the Contractors Progress Reports;
Manage the interface concerns and closely collaborates with relevant contract/work package managers and technical specialists
(construction and rolling stock & systems RSS) and operations and maintenance (O&M) to ensure all engineering requirements are integrated and reflected in project design such as allowance for signaling, high voltage power, track drainage, rolling stock services, and IT communication systems;
Prepare and submit to the contract manager periodic reports including recommendations of progress of project implementation, issues, concerns, and variation;
Coordinate and collaborates with other PMO units, DOTr, general consultants, third party contractors, LGUs, and other stakeholders through pro-active, timely communication, meetings/discussions and written correspondence;
Perform other functions as may be assigned from time to time by the immediate supervisor; and All other relevant tasks as may be assigned; Engineer - PMO

Review and comment if deemed necessary, of technical documents pertaining to interface and MEPF work items (Drawings, Shop drawings, Specifications, Method Statement, Material Approval, etc.)
Maintains project calendar and milestones. Ensure timely completion of interface and MEPF work items (MIP, Sub-work programs, Weekly programs, Progress reports, Accomplishment reports, etc)
Execute implementation plans. Ensure that all interface and MEPF works are complying to pertinent approved interface and MEPF technical documents. (Regular site inspections, Memo to General Consultants re: Non-Complying works, etc)
Prepares project documents. Project updates and reports (updates of 1,2,3 bullets, activities accomplished, meeting attended and highlights, problems encountered and measures initiated, potential problems and proposed measures)
