Aerospace engineer and pilot (glider and single engine plane), I arrived early in the computer world (1959): starting with analog computers, I “surfed the wave” from mainframes to personal computers. I always focused on the applications starting with databases (I wrote a book on it), evolving to computer graphics, to computer animation, and finally to website design. My real knack is marketing and branding: I excel in creativity, adding the charm, the poetry, the sense of rhythm, flow and double entendre to domain name, tag line and web page content. Besides English, I speak fluently French (native) and Spanish.
2002-Now: I started Sites To Remember offering an innovative way to market products or company to the world via Internet: “I am not suggesting that the website I will build will be part of the 7 wonders, but I promise to build a Site To Remember”. More than 500 One-of-a-kind artistic and enticing websites since 1995 are catering to artist, restaurant, business, eCommerce, on-line shopping
1999-2002: Motorola. I became one of their leading Account Managers for Iridium satellite phone
1996-1998: Computer Associates, specialized in eCommerce
1983-1995: Decision Vision. I opened a computer graphics company from ground zero and grew it to a profitable $2,000,000/year entity. As part of my "exit" strategy, I sold it to a public company.
In 1983, I became among the first dealers in the world of Autodesk (AutoCAD), AT&T/TrueVision.
I Remained on the cutting edge in technology with applications including Virtual Reality, Computer Aided Design, Solid Modelling, Numerical Control, 2D/3D Computer-generated Animation.
1962-1964: French Air Force, Lieutenant, Optimization services, IBM 1401 programming, Airplane Pilot License for single engine and glider.
I Co-authored in 1972 a book on computers, Data Base Management chapter, published by Dunod, the foremost French publisher of technical books. I am a French native and speaks fluently English and Spanish.
My portfolio of websites I developed (more than 500) can be seen at www.SitesToRemember.com. I have experience of eCommerce (Miva Merchant), Magento platform, WordPress. One of my strong points can be found in Content, Marketing, Branding. I love and live to create excitement is my motto in life
