Acquired a BS in Elementary Education at CMU, formerly known as Mesa State College, with a desire to prepare myself to teach, support and love students through some of the most influential stages in their lives.
Received a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction over the course of 15 months with the intention of growing as an educator and advancing professionally via ACE’s online platform. Through this program I built my capacity to develop and implement tailored lessons and assess student learning.

Taught both 5th and 4th grades at McSweeny Elementary since 2014 with three years between where I worked at the district level. As a teacher, I manage the learning, assessing, interventions and parent communication for my classroom of roughly 30 students. I have also served as the grade level lead and site lead as a STEaM corrdinator.
Served in the professional development as an instructional coach for teachers clearing their credentials, supported veteran teachers and also created and presented both in-person and virtual trainings district wide on curriculum, instruction and classroom management.
Supported patients with cancer through the process of determining the best path for treatment after a diagnosis. I acted as a liaison between the patients and the doctors, assisted with appointment management and treatment options and was a accessible resource for questions.
From 2007-2008 I was civilian contracted administrative assistant for an Army Recruiting Command group where I would did tasks like filter calls, answered emails, looked over reports and scheduled appointments. 2006-2007 I supported the business accountant at ACE with payroll, accounts receivable and payable, phones, and entering tickets for jobsites.
