Sept 2015 – Current day TEKsystems, OSP Engineer, contracted to the Commonwealth of Kentucky, KCNA as an OSP Engineer for the Kentucky Wired Project.
OSP Engineer for the Kentucky Wired project. A Multi-Million Dollar project revamping Kentucky Telecom Infrastructure. Installing over 3,000 miles of 288 strands of SM Fiber to all 120 counties within Kentucky. This includes telecom Huts and Data centers and extenders/repeaters.
Responsible for- Review and approve all design, construction drawings, Fiber test results and deliverables.
Site visits to make sure construction was following the design, NEC Codes, EIA/TIA standards, quality, and safety standards.
Worked with the following software programs, MS Office, MS Project, MS Word, MS Excel, Visio, Aconex, blue beam, 3GIS, Google Earth.
Worked with Kentucky Power companies, setting up power for the Huts, building power pathways, setting up contracts and construction.
