CAREER OBJECTIVE
Refining and Deploying Methodologies and Tools (in teaching/training and consulting) for Business and Systems Analysis, Requirements Engineering and Solution and Software Design and Knowledge/Semantic Representation and Processing with and without AI;
Special Features of Deliverables---rapid, comprehensive, high-precision artifacts using corrected and enhanced UML, BPMN and Nimbus UPN and other relevant standards;
Current Areas of Research and Deliverables:
1.Extensively researched and prepared “Corrected and Enhanced UML UseCase Modeling combined with new process element “Conversation” of BPMN 2.0 (2011) and UPN of Nimbus;
2.Unified UML UseCases and UserStory / Story Mapping; Resolved contentious practices making use of good points of both approaches and BPMN 2.0 “Conversation”.
3.Unified Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering around TOBE Process Maps and UseCase Diagram and Ronald Ross Business Knowledge Blueprints.
4.Readied BA and RE templates and checklists as APPS for computer aided BA and RE activities. This enables rapid on-the-job-learning and delivery of professional artifacts by new BA’s and RE’s.
5.Ontology Creation and Evolution, Knowledge Authoring and Delivery; Design of HyperPlex, Knowledge Builder Server incorporating the above,
6.Upgraded HyperPlex with “hyperedges” in Knowledge Hypergraph representations. Here again, explicit graphic representation is adopted to distinguish Primary and Secondary Links of a hyperedge. This enables expressive and precise knowledge representation corresponding to all parts of speech of natural languages.
7.Radical new definition of “meaning” for uniform application to humans and machines. Expressions have meaning but expressions are NOT the meanings by themselves. Meaning arises in the entities claiming to know the meaning. Proposed Systems with Machine Mediated Meaning (Semantic Web Applications) for man-machine interoperability;
8.LIVE, self-aware and Adaptive Software, added “operations” to passive domain classes for them to act intelligently.
9.Unified Character Code based on International Phonetic Alphabet, for all Phonetics Based Scripts; Eliminates the need for multiple long character codes and code conversion.
10.Software LEGO—Programming-Free Object-Oriented Software Synthesis Kit.
11.Creativity and Innovation Training & Consulting;
12.Conceptualization and Evolution of Reusable Software Artifacts Repository ReSAR; (see www.slideshare.net/putchavn for details)

Professional Achievements
Educational
1.Freelance Professor and Consultant, Knowledge Enabler Systems (keneblersys); Provided industry-oriented training for Business Analysis based on enhanced IIBA, BPMN, UML, NIMBUS UPN standards. Developed and deployed Business Analysis Educational & Professional Kit. Taught about 100 Business Analysts in the USA, UK, Australia over the WEB using Skype and WebEx. Active member of LinkedIn professional groups.
2.Developed UML Methodology and Tools for Comprehensive, High-Precision, Rapid Requirements Engineering and successful application to academic and industry projects. UML is refined, extended and systematized for effective software development—Making the Most of UML and Going Beyond (privately called UML++). Harmonized Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering.
3.Taught OOAD using UML++ and applying to a number of well-formulated mini-projects as case studies to promote programming-language-independent software engineering.
4.Developed and applied radical methods of enabling learning, guidance, testing and evaluation; applied to Business Analysis, Software Engineering, Computer Graphics (BE, B Tech, MCA), TQM, Intellectual Property Rights and Cyber Laws (MBA),
Research
1.Extensive Research and refining/unifying UML UseCase Modeling and BPMN: I had discovered in 2008 that the exact nature of a UseCase is a DIALOG of messages between the System under Consideration (SuC) and Actor but NOT a process of SuC NOR a part of SuC. In 2011, BPMN 2.0 introduced a new process element CONVERSATION with a hexagonal symbol on a double line connecting two entities. This is essentially the same as my UseCase Service DIALOG. This brings clarity and precision to UseCase Modeling. Also, it unifies UseCases and User Stories/Story Mapping.
2.Unifying UML UseCases UCs and User Stories and Story Mapping; There is a raging controversy and conflict between UseCase Modeling and User Story driven Agile development but the essential nature of both is the same. The size of a UseCase or User Story depends on the Goal of UseCase or Objective or Purpose of User Story. The essential nature of both of them is a Dialog or Conversation. This realization helps us to unify and harmonize apparently different UseCase modeling and user stories. A set of templates and tools are developed for the same. It is now feasible and desirable to use them as apps in computer aided BA/RE.
3.Unifying Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering around TOBE Process Maps and UseCase Diagram and Business Knowledge Blueprints: There is a trend to oversimplify requirements specification by starting with single line user stories and plunging into development and testing piece by piece, without any overall plan or structure. Soon enough, the futility and chaos of this approach is recognized and STORY MAPPING emerged to classify and structure isolated user stories into broader meaningful overall functions or services before diving headlong into implementation and testing. My UseCase Modeling as Service Dialog allows that to happen systematically. Alistair Cockburn, Scott Ambler and other Agile practice proponents are recommending thoughtful reordering and structuring of user stories. That is my corrected and enhanced UseCase modeling as Service Dialogs. These are in turn integrated with Ronald Ross Business Knowledge Blueprints. Computer aided BA and RE is in the offing.
4.Systematic methods for discovering Design Classes: The discovery of design classes is left to the designers and there is no systematic method for it. I have discovered and systematized well-reasoned method for it. In addition, it is eminently feasible and desirable to make design objects LIVE and ADAPTIVE by using polymorphism. Full procedure for it is described in an PDF by this title on SlideShare.
5.Developed a software product HyperPlex incorporating the above jointly with IT Industrial partners AAGAMA Software Services. Evolved 1+ 3 Field Query for high precision query for HyperPlex, a knowledge builder server. This is based on highly expressive and high-precision knowledge graphs.
6.I have added “hypergraph” features of incorporating multiple subjects s1, s2 s3 and multiple objects and o1 o2 and o3 through the same predicate or link to exactly represent all the parts of speech of English.
7.Developed a radical and fundamental definition of Meaning and methods for language-independent encoding and execution of meaning (using 2 and 3)
8.Detected an anomaly in the classical definition of relation in set theory and corrected it with a radical and fundamental redefinition of relation.
9.Developed True Object-Oriented System Synthesis. Many Object-Oriented Programming Languages still suffer from Serial Procedural Thinking and Processing. I follow a software system creation through “Configuration of and Communications among a society of Objects”. This builds on LIVE objects item 4 above.
POSITIONS HELD AND WORK CARRIED OUT
Founder Proprietor: Knowledge Enabler Systems—kenablersys
August 2010 – Present
1.Internet based teaching and training for Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering with industry-oriented syllabus derived from IIBA, BPMN, NIMBUS UPN and UML.
2.Improved the definition and modeling of Business Processes by adding five new elements to the well-known three elements 1 input, 2 process and 3 output. The new five unaccounted elements of process are: 4 Undesirable inputs and outputs, 5 Process Resources, 6 Process Consumables, and 7 FeedbackIn and FeedbackOut and 8 Feedback Processing. This does not include another process element “Conversation” introduced by BPMN 2.0 in 2011 but it is also used when necessary.
3.Correction, simplification and enhancement of Activity Diagrams, BPMN Diagrams for effective Business Process Modeling, Analysis and Design (in UPN). This incorporates 2 above. Separated physical flows of objects, that is, men, materials and signals from logical flows of data and information. This distinction is NOT well-recognized and object flows and data flows are mixed up making a mess of process modeling. Flow charting, BPMN and UML Activity Diagrams are afflicted by this flaw and I steer my students and clients out of this mess.
4.Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering Methodology and Tool Kit for Direct Artifact Generation / Review and Delivery.
5.Business Analysis and Requirements Engineering Services (on-job support, mentoring, assignments) over the Internet / on site using the above.
6.Building of Reusable Artifacts for teaching, consulting and Reusable Software Artifacts Repository ReSAR.

Enterprise Management System for Business Excellence through ops manuals and process templates.
Direct Credit Cheque: This needs a special mention because it is a superior version of Positive Pay System PPS, introduced by Reserve Bank of India on January 01, 2021. It is NOT operational or executable. PPS is only an authorization by the issuer of the cheque to his banker to honor the cheque when it is presented through the circuitous clearing house, if and when it passes all the preceding processing stages. In contrast the Direct Credit Cheque is a negotiable original instrument. Check for details. It is still a superior alternative to the present circuitous checks and drafts
