In a multi-vendor Wide Area Networking environment, I functioned as the primary senior engineer for the corporations LAN/WAN and Security engineer. Responsibilities include engineering, ordering, configuring, and implementing Networking designs for the Cardinal Glass sites. Function as second and final level escalation for troubleshooting, analyzing, resolving client issues in connection with network devices for, Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, Perimeter Security and communications issues. Work closely with ISP’s, network equipment vendors, and other teams within the Corporation to facilitate resolutions to complex networking issues in a timely manner.

Network Services SME (Subject Matter Expert) and point of contact for most of the buildouts which included 2 Data Centers, 44 manufacturing facilities, and corporate facilities up to 1,800,000 sq ft.

Created and managed complex budgets exceeding $2 million average per year

Built 5 new manufacturing sites, migrated 5 acquired sites ranging from 86k sq ft to 1.8 million sq ft to Cardinal’s standard design that I have modernized

Engineered, configured and implemented the transition for the corporation’s data circuits from the current headquarters to the new headquarters.

Developed the skills to support the Nortel LAN/WAN configurations and maintenance.

Performed a lead role in the OSPF Redesign project that encompassed the merging of three corporations into one WAN design as well as migrating the Public IP schemes and standards into one Private IP scheme and set of standards.
