Responsible for the procurement of human and animal medicines, drugs and specialized equipment for doctors, clinics and hospitals in Brazil. Prepare all import/export legal documentation, obtain Brazilian import license, purchase, pack, airship, customs clear and hand deliver the product to its destined patient.

Procured very unique and specialized drugs everywhere in the world helping cure thousands of patients.

04/2000 – 06/2003

US BUYER, World Hotel Concepts, Inc.

Responsible for the purchase of US sourced hotel equipment and supplies for one of the largest chains in Europe: Sol Melia Group. Negotiated all contracts with manufacturers of US equipment to service the hotel facilities in Latin America and the Caribbean.

INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS, C.H.Robinson Company

Started as the Miami International manager handling thousands of loads coming from South America and delivering them in the US or Canada. Was transferred to England to redesign and put in place new logistics methods for the Pepsico snacks division managing raw materials from the harvesting (in different countries/continents) to its on time delivery at the producing line in northern Europe factories (millions of tons of potatoes and corn); went to Spain to do the same thing for the Iberia region, Northern Africa and eastern Europe; moved to South Africa to solve their “local” problems and ended up in Brazil to solve their Mercosul problems.

WAREHOUSE/LOGISTICS MANAGER, JPH International (Forwarders)

Directed day to day logistics operations for the transportation of auto parts for Ford Motor Co. thru their provider, Dana Corporation, from their suppliers in Latin America, to their plants in the mid-West.
