Coax Cable Splicer
Routinely performs Coax plant splicing, reconfiguration, activation and ensures systems are properly operating using a signal strength meter. Optimizes new nodes and splices in node splits to reduce capacity. Efficiently reads and interprets HFC prints, fiber schematics, and electronic design or cut sheets for required task and sequence to support assigned projects. Executes plant duties of coax and fiber as needed, including installing/updating all passive and active devices, pedestals, vaults, and coax splice cases required to house CATV equipment to meet customer requirements. Safely operates a DOT aerial bucket truck along with hand tools, ladders, and other equipment for aerial, underground, and all other potential locations. Performs sweep and balance testing, tuning, and balancing on coax cable plants. Participates in monthly on-call rotation and occasional out-of-state travel as needed. Systems/Network Maintenance, Communications Technician Independently worked to deploy, install, or maintain cable or other technology and devices, including but not limited to splicing, grounding, bonding, isolation, slack storage, and sealing. Reviewed and interpreted underground and aerial cable records in existing records, on maps, or in the field. Executed routine troubleshooting through the distribution cable to the node to restore customer video, CHSI, or CDV as required. Efficiently used cable test equipment, ladders, and operated company bucket truck and hydraulic aerial lifts 18 to 20 feet above ground. Properly surveyed the plant to ensure service availability to potential customers in single and multiple-family dwellings including pre-wired units. Performed CLI ride-out and tracked and repaired leakage, as necessary. Thoroughly inspected existing bond/ground to ensure compliance with Company, OSHA, FCC, EPA, and NEC requirements; made new ground as required to protect employees, customers, and equipment from electrical shock or damage. Participated in monthly on-call rotation, repairing damaged cables and restoring services for emergency calls.
Customer Account Executive

Responded to questions related to customer billing statements and general inquiries, as well as for the resolution of payment concerns.
