Heavy Civil Field Operations, Project/Civil Superintendent A brief description of my experience wet and dry utilities, earthwork, deep excavation, and road construction - including structures and bridges. This is my 42nd year in the construction industry, and I pride myself on my ability to get my projects completed on time and on budget. My project experience includes CIP [cured in place] pipe rehabilitation, piping for commercial and industrial applications, cross-country water & sewer pipelines /Petro sector, Tunnels & shafts/ boring, lift and pump stations; paving, grading, storm and sanitary sewer for transportation projects [TX DOT/CAL TRANS], airport and airfield projects, DoD/Milcon projects on military bases, Government [GSA] projects, and private site-work, including residential infrastructure.

I feel very strongly about the importance of safety for my crew, we work safely and efficiently. I have participated in Mutiple training classes OSHA 30 updated (2023} Trench Rescue, First Aid &CPR, rigging/ competent person, just to name a few.

I am always involved in training my crew to do the work safely. I am bilingual and well organized; this gives me a real advantage in getting the work done, getting along with my co-workers & inspectors as well as Owners. TSC TX July 2003 to December 2008

Project Superintendent: Schedule work and crews; ordering of all material. Daily reports, bi-weekly meetings with TXDOT and municipalities. Schedule work for sub-contractors, meeting with the Owners of Texas Sterling, and Project Managers there.

Grades and elevations for tunnel crews, dirt crews, and concrete crews. Monitor equipment for upkeep. Input on bidding work - how long to complete tasks and how to safely plan deep excavations - some were 40' deep. Here is a short summary of projects for TSC:

• Spur 455 - Harry Hines Blvd infrastructure and pavement (4-lanes to 6 lanes); wet utilities, 72'' water main and tunnels.

• Belt Line Rd - Paving and relocating existing utilities incl. triple barrel box culvert

• Hwy 10 -Paving and storm-drain

4 K Contracting, Wylie TX. March 2000 to July 2003 General Superintendent: Bidding work, meetings with proposed owners of Residential Properties, schedule of jobs and crews, weekly update meetings with owner of H&W, purchasing of equipment, manage all pay estimates, accounts, and payables, mechanic, reports to tax consultant, meetings with cities for the CIP projects, etc. Managed all safety for the company as Safety Director. Oscar Renda Contracting, Roanoke TX June 1994 to March 2000 Project Superintendent: Schedule of work and crews, ordering all material,daily reports,such delivery of pipe for pipe line, grades and elevation, shafts and tunnels, mechanic, out of town work super. Sewer work pump and lift stations, sch work for subs, paving crews, tie-ins etc. Hood Corporation, Pittsburgh, CA [Union] January 1987 to May 1994

• Foreman (promoted to pipe line Superintendent):: Responsible for all layout of pipe line ROW. Work with welders. Schedule delivery of pipe for pipeline projects. Equipment operator, pipe layer, grade checker, laborer. With this company you did it all.
