Leading Edge Tech (Jan 2022 – present)

Working with Rivery ETL in conjunction with Snowflake. Project consists of consuming analytics and report information from social media platforms via River ETL into Snowflake. Creation of snowflake schemas for consumption by Tableau.

Contracts (July 2020 – Dec 2021)

Working with some small groups prototyping business ideas. Mostly AWS deployments, various technologies, AWS RDS, real DB install, Java, Spring Boot, Snowflake.

SmartDestinations (October 2018 – May 2020)

General database work. Application databases were MySQL installed on EC2 instances. Designed purge application for all transactional and reference tables. Reporting database was Redshift. Designed and built multiple ETL processes using Pentaho, shell, and Spring Integration. Designed streaming system for reporting using Kafka/Spring Integration/Redshift.

Pitney Bowes/Red Ventures (June 2007– June 2016)

Worked on numerous projects as both Oracle Developer and Java Developer. Built initial MyMove OLTP database, including schema design, stored procedures and Spring DAO/Service layers. After launch I took responsibility for the design and maintenance of the MyMove and ICOA reporting systems. Used tools such as Oracle Warehouse Builder, Pentaho, Oracle OLAP, and QlikView. Custom built numerous reporting application components using Spring MVC, Spring Integration, custom shell.

Imagitas (March 2001– May 2007)

Hired as lead developer for web app team. Transitioned into Lead to build and deploy analytics systems. Environments were pure java and Oracle.
