Work Experience

Panera Bread Associate Trainer

Panera Bread - Frederick, MD

May 2019 to Present

During my time in this location, I have done every job that air is inside the store or from the dining room, which consists of busing tables and cleaning the dining room area as well as switching out coffees and ensuring that all drink stations are adequately stocked. Also, consist of helping customers who may need help to their table or may need help carrying something too heavy for them to handle out to their vehicle. Another task that I have had while at Panera is that I can keep a proper till and balance a register efficiently. Another job that a cashier must have is responsible for serving food out of the bakery and the bread and bagel wall. This imposes food safety and also the ability to use mechanical equipment properly to ensure that the product and myself are not damaged in use. I also have worked on the line as a cook. The line is broken into several stations. The stations that have the most common job are the salad sandwich and pizza station, and soups. All these stations, you make the items ordered by customers and have them ready promptly, often below 2 minutes per order. I have also been trained in the role of consolidator; this role inconsistent of sorting out all the food that has been made, either bagging or plating it so that the customer can grab it, and ensuring that orders go out correctly with the proper utensils and food inside the bags or on the plates. I have also been trained in several backup house jobs. One of the essential backhouse jobs I have done is responsible for trucks. While doing the truck delivery, I am responsible for properly rotating and inventorying all stock that we get in ensuring that everything that we ordered from the truck gets inside the store so that we are aware of what products we have and how much we have to ensure that we can run a business efficiently. I can by memory check off A manifest of up to 500 items. This job is also very physical because many things weigh anywhere between 5 to 50 pounds each. I am responsible for ensuring that they are placed safely put away and will not fall on any other associates. Another rule that I have taken on in the back of the house would be a dishwasher. I can operate a commercial-grade dishwasher and ensure that all plates and silverware and any other products that are being used on the line or the bakery Gray are safe to eat with and clean to ensure that customers do not complain and that they do not get dirty equipment causing a slowdown with the rest of the Store. Another role that I have also taken on at this location is I'm a delivery driver for larger orders over the amount of $250 that are slated for delivery by the customer. I am responsible for ensuring that I leave the store with everything I'm supposed to by checking every bag. I am also responsible for safely delivering the product to the customer and either delivering it to their destination area or setting it up in their designated area to their liking and then getting a valid signature for approval for purchase.
