Fusion Logistics, Inc., an authorized Delivery Service Provider for a major US Retailer, has immediate PERMANENT opportunities available for experienced Drivers in the Greater Houston, TX area. This position will be delivering a variety of "Home Goods" up to 300 lbs (small appliances, TV's, etc) to mostly residential customers from our customer's distribution facility in Houston, TX. No assembly or installation required. Two person teams are welcome to apply..

• Drivers must be able to remain compliant to operate a DOT Regulated vehicle, including obtaining a Medical Examiner’s Certificate.

• You must be able to move boxes in excess of 50 lbs., and work with a Delivery Helper(s) for boxes more than 70 lbs.

• You must follow strict safety standards on and off the road

• You must be able to easily get in and out of the van, with or without reasonable accommodation.

• You can plan on working about 4-5 days a week

• You can plan on a typical working day being 10 hours

• You’ll secure packages to ensure no damage is caused to customer shipments.

• You’ll inspect vehicle equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil and water.

• You'll interact with Amazon customers and the public in a professional and positive manner

• You'll use handheld technology to manage the delivery process

Warehouse associates are an essential part of The Home Depot s distribution network. They load and unload trucks, move material within the facility and from the loading platform by carrying, pushing, rolling or operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment. They safely operate forklifts or other machinery in order to complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products. These positions include General Warehouse Associate and General Warehouse Associate II.

Communicate with (or to) individuals or groups verbally and/or in writing (e.g. customers, suppliers, associates).Maintains housekeeping and safety of facility by monitoring levels of trash in compactors, open-top containers, and trash line; removing and baling cardboard from trash line and reporting trash levels. Processes merchandise and pallets by moving pallets to staging areas and put away locations using power equipment. Ensure sufficient quantities of boxes are available for order fillers by monitoring levels and replenishing as needed.
