One of our clients is looking for an Electrician at Brantford, ON for their facility.
Shift: Days
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repair, installation, and preventative maintenance of facility electrical distribution systems and equipment in an industrial setting and automation including PLCs, HMI, frequency drives, temperature control, and other related devices
They shall ensure a safe plant operation and a safe working environment for all the employees.
The candidate should read and interpret the drawings, blueprints, schematics, and code specifications to determine the layout of industrial equipment and installations.
Qualification:
The candidate shall hold a certified Electrician license (442A and 309A).
Skills:
The candidate should be well versed in communication both written and verbal.
The candidate should possess strong working knowledge of HMI's, electric motor controls, programmable logic controllers, basic wiring circuits, and skills necessary to safely test common electrical systems and make minor repairs where required.
