• Providing sterilization and cleaning up after GI procedure.
• Sending equipment out for repair when necessary and documenting repair reports.
• Performing safety checks and maintaining inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Placing stents and completing balloon dilating and liver biopsies under professional supervision.
• Providing support for various procedures including colonoscopy, endoscopy, and ERCP. Medical Instrument Technician:
• Cleaning, maintaining, and testing medical instruments.
• Sterilizing and decontaminating surgical supplies.
• Preparing trays for different surgical procedures.
• Checking instruments, identifying faults, and requesting repairs when needed. Skills:
