As a claims Analyst for Rollins for 22 years. I handled negotiated and settled auto liability, general liability and chemical liability claims. Whenever a fatality occurred, I would pull together my 1st response team; The team included an engineer/accident reconstructionist we would meet within 24 hours at the loss location. We would do the scene investigation; canvass for witnesses, look at the vehicles involved, meet with the families (if possible). Gather as much information as possible to determine a liability conclusion.

During the COVID years things changed. Working remotely, mainly ZOOM and TEAMS. I adapted well to a remote environment. I still achieved the departmental plan; with a reduction of office supplies and expenses, limited vendors were utilized. Minimal claims were transferred to Litigation. All “CAPTIONED REPORTS” for settlement authority were completed and submitted timely. Approval was always granted on my claim’s evaluations.

As a Claims Analyst, I know that customer service is paramount. I maintain an awareness of the needs of my internal and external customers. When their needs are known, I focus on what I have to do to resolve their concerns and ultimately their claim. In order to do that contacting them must me expeditious, facts must be determined and a decision must be made based on those facts. Communication is utmost. Follow-up listing and follow through to deliver expert customer service.
