Setup and installation of new PC’s, initial configuration of applications for new users. Install operating systems, patches, application & software drives as required. Familiar with multimedia and latest word processing applications. 05/20-to present—retired -State of California Department of Corrections at: Various sites and positions (see application)--Administration, install, configure and maintain LAN workstations, troubleshooting NT, Win 2k, XP,Win10. Performing testing/measuring, PC network connectivity support in a Windows environment. 1/90-5/2000 Kern High School District at Highland High School Bakersfield, CA: Computer Instruction Technician, Support and maintenance of 70 NT 4.0 workstation/Window 9X computer labs. Provide student support in resolving technical issues. Assist teacher in the instruction of computer software such as Encarta MultiMedia, MS Office Suite. Troubleshoot computers as required.
