Basic design drawing preparation instrument index based on P&ID prepared by excel sheet first and then if finalize all tags then prepared by SPI & datasheet preparation.

Preparation of instrument material selection based on P&ID & equipment layout drawing & datasheet and commercial offer document.

Preparation and checking of Instrument documents- Instrument data sheets and specification, Instrument index, System Input/output list, Cause & Effect Diagram, Alarm & Trip Schedule.

Review and checking of Instrument drawings-Instrument cable block diagram, Cable schedule, Instrument wiring diagram, Loop Diagram, Instrument Hook-up Diagram, Bill Of Materials.

Inputs to deliverables by various other departments- Material requisition for equipment, P&ID, Control room layout, control and shutdown philosophy, Fire & Gas Philosophy.

Inter-discipline review of deliverables from other departments-P&ID, Plot plan, Piping GA drawings, Equipment layouts, Electrical single line diagrams, HVAC duct layouts, Hazardous area classification drawings, Review of F&G Layout drawings, Review of F&G and C&E Diagram.

Procurement assistance- Preparation of Material Requisition and Technical Bid Evaluation for field Instruments and Control & Safety Systems.

Vendor drawing review for instruments, Instrument packages (Metering skid, Deluge system), equipment

(tanks, pumps) and equipment packages (Compressors, Chemical injection skids, HVAC)

Review of P&ID, Material selection as per piping specification

Proposal activities-Review of project scope, Technical clarification, prepare list of activities and deliverables required, preparation of method statement.

All drawing preparation like instrument data sheet, junction box wiring details, preparation of instrument material selection, commercial offer document, MTO, Input/output list, alarm & trip list, cable schedule, SAT procedure document.

Preparation of engineering deliverable documents by using SPI-IN tools based on junction box wiring details, MTO-material take off, Input/output list, alarm & trip list, cable schedule, hook-up drawing, instrument typical installation details, interconnection diagram, loop diagram, F&G interconnection & loop diagram preparation, Etc.

Preparation of control systems design deliverable like system architecture, system block diagram, etc.

FEED-Front End Engineering Design, Detailed engineering design document like preparation of engineering deliverable document like above mentioned documents.

Familiarization with Client standards- PDO & OXY -OMAN, SHELL DEP, Qatar Energy, CPCL-INDIA.

Preparation of technical bid evaluation-TBE for instrument depends on requirement.

Familiar with International Codes and standards like NEMA, IEC, ISO etc.

Participation to safety risk reviews like (HAZID/HAZOP/SIL/LOPA). INSTRUMENT CONSTRUCTION ENGINEER

Review of work scope to determine the Material Submittal (If any) & Method Statement to be submitted with respect to the instrument Scope in line with specification and code Requirements.

Knowledge on preparing Engineering document like I/O list, Alarm& Trip list, data sheets, index, MTO.

Method Statement preparation for all instrumentation activity.

Over all In-charge in the execution of instrumentation Works in the project wherein the instrumentation Supervisor / Foreman directly reports.

Monitoring and reporting the instrumentation Work progress & anticipation of future required Materials, equipment / tools or personnel at site.

Detect the unacceptable trends to the executed instrumentation Works and initiate a Corrective action for it.

Estimate the quantities of instrumentation consumable materials & review the purchase Orders for it.

Notify the QA/QC department for the completed task ready for inspection by submitting Internal RFI for the internal inspection of QA/QC.

Reviews drawing like IFC (Issued for Comments) and AFC (Approved for construction). IFA (Issued for Approval), ASB (As Built), IFI (Issued for Information).

Preparation of Project scheduling and Daily, weekly, Monthly Progress Reports.

Review of Instrumentation drawings and preparation of material requisitions.

Every day Site Execution work progress Monitoring & Preparation of site progress report to submit client to meet client satisfaction with proper safety at site i.e. overall site work monitoring.

Review specifications Process Data Sheets (PDS), Piping Material Specifications (PMS), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s), Plot plans, General Arrangement (GA) drawings, F&G Detector Layout Drawings and other relevant documents. Establish contract review criteria, identify and resolve discrepancies and divergences from original proposal through the initiation of technical queries to projects/client.

Vendor Drawing Review for various Instrumentation packages like EMERSON, YOKOGAWA, HONEYWELL, ABB, Etc.

Review vendor drawing and doing site visit with EMERSON, YOKOGAWA vendor during that time we need to do some red line markup if we require allotting another channel.

Prepare method statement for both construction activity & demolition activity as per project scope and submit to client and after comments to be incorporate with CRS-comments resolution sheet. Recent Company (India Experience)
