I have skilled experience as a caregiver and I am passionate to help people with disability, dementia, i assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding. They also help with transferring patients between beds and chairs, ensuring patient comfort and safety. .i have worked with few high rated companies that thought me how to handle difficult situations and difficult clients, so in that case, I am skilled to handle any difficult situation that may arises. I have worked in a hospice environment, trained to feed clients that has difficult is swallowing., I closely observe patients for any changes in their condition and promptly report these changes to the nursing staff. This helps in early detection of potential complications. In long-term care facilities, as nursing assistant i play a role in advocating for the rights and well-being of residents, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity.
I follow strict protocols to maintain infection control standards, including proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients.
AS Nursing assistant, I help patients with mobility issues move around safely. This can involve assisting with walking, using assistive devices like wheelchairs or walkers, and preventing complications like pressure ulcers.
