EXPERIENCE: Deputy Court Clerk, Milwaukee County Courthouse, (February 2022-November 2022) Makes summary entries of all documents and proceedings, maintains courts calendars, requests juries, examines papers admitted for signature for filing to ensure they are properly prepared; receives, maintains and inventories exhibits. Prepares and maintains court calendars, monitors time frame of cases in accordance with state statutes, arranges for attendance of required parties in court cases; prepare or issue subpoenas, bench warrants, body attachments, orders, and petitions. Responsible for notifying participants of court dates, appointing experts, providing information concerning court proceedings, rules, practices, and procedures; notarizes documents.

Disposition Clerk, Milwaukee County Sheriff Department (July 2020-Janaury 2022) Responsible for updating booking records after court appearances. Adding charges when applicable and determining if an inmate is eligible for release to include pulling the inmate packet and delivering it to Jail Records. Liaison between Jail Records and the courts.

Warrants Division, Milwaukee County Sheriff Department (January 2018-January 2022) Receive, review, and process traffic, criminal, and civil warrants. Confirming suspect’s identity; ordering transportation. Operate a teletype machine (NCIC/ CIB/ NLETS) to request, obtain, and send information on warrants and other crime-related information. Respond to inquiries and requests for information from other law enforcement agencies.

Clerical Specialist 2, Milwaukee County Sheriff Department (January 2018-January 2022) Pre-booking inmates into the jail. Answering questions; and provides information regarding inmate’s bail, court dates and charges. Complete bonding paperwork and receive payments such as cash, money orders visa and or master. Data entry of all property items received from an inmate at the time of search. Sort 1047's to be distributed to each court.

Work side-by-side at MPD districts and divisions as well as community events in neighborhoods across the city. The Milwaukee Police Department provide meaningful work assignments over the course of the program and pair us with mentors who are experienced members of the Police Department.
