Transformer

Install bushings, radiators, conservator bucholz and sudden pressure relay, equalizing pipe, internal bushing leads, connect transformer for different voltage and vector grouping.

Perform oil processing, DGA sampling and testing and installation of online DGA analizer bushing replacement tap changer maintenance gasket and auxiliary equipment replacement motor for tapchanger

Perform power factor testing, winding resistance, insulation resistance- megger, turns ratio-TTR, oil dielectric and current excitation and functional test. Some of the same testing is done on the voltage regulators

Breaker

Install breaker- install bushings and replace/ repair faulty mechanism, repair oil and gas leak check vacuum bottle, change closing and trip coils, proficient in using Dilo gas cart.

Perform insulation resistance, contact resistance, power factor/tank index, hipot, timing and motion, breaker profile, dew point and gas analyzer, heavy current injection and reclosing sequence test.

Current transformers

Install line/bus current transformer also in transformer and breaker. Perform excitation, saturation, ratio, and polarity test.

Cable

Splicing and termination, VLF and hipot tan delta, insulation resistance, tan delta/power factor, and fault location using thumper or Partial discharge.

Software

Microsoft tools, software for testing for example DOBLE DTA V8.2, Protection suite v5.2.8, EZCT 2000C programing SEL RELAYS using QUICKSET, use NETA standard to determine condition of equip and other resources, plan execute and track job progress using power DB 11.2 pro, Site Dox for JSA JHA ETC

General

Install and test PTS, reactors, wave trap, CCVT, voltage regulators, capacitor

Install duct bank, cable trough metal and PVC conduit for control cables, LV power and HV cables

Utilize prints to install and troubleshoot control cables in relay panel, transformers, breakers, and other equip panel.

Troubleshoot high voltage system, control panel and other control circuit.

Install AC and DC panel including change over switch, isolators including MODs, circuit switchers and performing contact alignment, contact resistance, cam adjustment etc.

Connect single phase transformer in delta star configuration for three phase load and parallel operation

Use IR scanner to detect hot joints on isolators breakers, bus bar and transformers to perform schedule repair.

Install grounding using cad-weld and test ground grid using fall of potential method etc.

Perform switching on system using LOTO system, issue permit to work, parallel transformer and station perform phasing check prior to connecting transformers, lines or bus and install mobile substations.
