Worked 2 units at this facility. Started as an LDRP intern and then transferred to orrho/Neuro. In LDRP we would care for the laboring, delivering, recovering and postpartum patient and their newborns as Continuity of care. In ortho/neuro assessed and cared for post-operative orthopedic patients, those with fractures and pre-operative patients. We also cared for stroke patients where I became NIH certified. Promoted to Clinical Coordinator which was a permanent charge nurse position and was placed in charge of both my home unit and our sister unit a floor below us which was an isolation unit.
