Job Description:

• Witness commissioning test of Structure cabling, UPT and Fiber Optic Cable.

• Monitoring site activity and advice the construction to implement the proper installation as per project specifications and standards.

• Responsible to all communication site inspection as per Saudi Aramco Typical Inspection test Plan (SATIP).

• Day by day inspection of all construction activities.Witnessall installed communication conduits, cable tray, cable laying and testing during construction based on the approved drawings and project specification. Preparation of testing report and QC record.

• Ensure conformance of work on-site as per standards such as (NEC, BICSI, NFPA, Project Specifications and others.) Assure conformance of work as per Technical Specifications and Design Scope. Assures Material delivery and Installation as per Approved Material.

• Monitoring and updating the calibration of all Communication testing Equipment and organize the preparation of communication cable test result and Instrument Loop Packages.

II. POSITION : QC ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR

Job Description:

• Implementing coverage of proper installation, wiring and cable laying, cladding, termination, witnessing of insulation resistance test and Hi-pot test.

• Coordinate and assist construction to resolve any encountered problems related to inspection and testing activities to meet schedule and avoid any delay of activities.

• Witness RMU for Phase to Phase High Voltage test.

• Inspection & testing of all power distribution system.

• Witness pre-commissioning of Transformers system, MV and LV side.

• Preparation and submittal for Pre-com RFI and pre-commissioning documents.

• Maintain and update quality documents for offices/sites.

• Daily surveillance of site activities.

• Issues non-conformance report that does not comply with Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards.

• Internally check the RFI raised by construction team before raising it to Saudi Aramco Project Inspection Division.

• Ensures that work activities are carried out as per approved and latest issued for construction drawing & specification.

• Weekly updating the RFI, test, and material receiving inspection log.

• Ensures that as-built information is recorded daily on the QC copy of the drawings.

• Monitor the performance of construction to ensure the respect of work standards and project specification.

• Inspect and witness the construction works as per their approved Inspection Test Plan.

• Verify the equipment and devices used in the project meets the required specification per project requirements, Standard and tested in accordance with the procedures.

• Monitor the underground installations; check the required burial depth and spacing requirements to adjacent installation, prior to backfilling.
