I write this letter of application to show interest in the position of Disconnection Reconnection Supervisor (SOUTH) available within the organization based on my qualifications and experience.

I am currently employed as a Level Operative 2 in the Maintainance and Distribution department in the company. I began my journey at WASCO in the Choiseul Crew where I worked in the position of Operations 1 for a period of five (5) years. I was then transferred to the department of Leak Detection in the south for about a period of one (1) year. One and a half (1.5) years ago I was transferred to the Vieux Fort Crew where I am employed in my current position of Operative 2. This experience has equipped me with the both the knowledge and experience required to understand the duties of the workers I would be supervising. This is vital as I will be able to both direct and assist them in their day to day responsibilities.

Furthermore, my drive for constant self-improvement and betterment, had me enrolling in the National Enrichment Learning Unit (NELU) where I successfully completed my program in Plumbing Basic Level and obtained my plumbing certificate. Consequently, participation in this program has equipped me with more knowledge to not only ensure that I carry out my duties diligently but to be able to carry out more duties in my crew.

Moreover, my involvement in the Cadet Corp and its vigorous training has fostered in me the physical power and mental endurance to carry out the duties of a supervisor effectively. Also, I have built positive rapports with my co-workers both as a team member and a team leader that will prove beneficial to me as a supervisor especially in the role of delegating tasks.

It is for these reasons and more that I believe I should be considered for the position of Supervisor in the department of Disconnection Reconnection. If given this opportunity I will be just as dedicated to my new function and responsibilities in the organization and continue to work for the mutual benefit and improvement of the team and the organization as a whole.
