Good afternoon!

We are less than a week away from the beginning of our New Store Opening (NSO) training! We have already started getting the restaurant set up and organized and ready to go for training to begin on Tuesday May 30th at our Fashion Place location in Murray at 6163 S State St. Our sister restaurant, Crack Shack, is still Under construction and so you will have to pull into the construction zone to park at the store. The entrance will be located on the north side of the property, closest to Shake Shack.

As we draw near to the NSO culture day, we would like to get a better idea of which of our two sessions you will be attending. There is an AM session and a PM session. on Tuesday May 30th the a.m. session is from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the PM session is from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. been on Wednesday Thursday and Friday the a.m. session will be 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and the p.m. session will be 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. let us know which session you will be attending.

If you would also remind us of your T-shirt size, so that we can have your uniform ready to go on day one. Our t-shirt sizes run from extra small all the way up to a 4XL. Here is our dress code pulled directly from the Detroit Pizza Academy. Via 313 T-Shirt, unmodified

Back of house employees working in a closed kitchen (not visible to guests) may wear a plain t-shirt instead of a Via 313 shirt. No sleeveless shirts or tank tops, no crop tops, no references to alcohol, drugs, or any derogatory language may be on the shirt.

Any shirts worn over or under your Via 313 shirt must be dark red, blue, green, gray or black (no light or bright color shirts, flannels are ok) Dark Wash Jeans or Shorts - no rips, tears or frays, & must have a hem. Shorts must be mid thigh - Finger Tip Test

Back of House employees may wear chef pants

No khakis, cutoffs, cargo shorts, yoga pants, sweat pants, or basketball shorts

Black Non-Slip Shoes

Socks must be worn with all footwear.

Non-slip Crocs are acceptable, but they must be the "On-The-Clock Work Series", meaning they are non slip, close toe & full heel (no strap), no holes on the top.

Tattoo, Piercing, and hair color friendly!

All employees should maintain personal hygiene and have a neutral smell, well-groomed hair, and clean hands and fingernails. Any hair, shoulder length or longer, must be tied back - up and off of the shoulders

Back of House employees must wear a hat or a hairnet and may not wear wrist jewelry or rings. Employees working in an open kitchen must wear a Via 313 hat or a hair net.

Servers must wear an apron & carry a wine key and pens Front of House employees may wear some jewelry as long as it does not impede their ability to work

Trailer Employees must abide by Back of House Dress Code requirements I mentioned the Detroit Pizza Academy (DPA) earlier in the email and you should be on the lookout for an invitation to the DPA. Those emails are only good for 24 hours and then we would need to resend the invite. Please login if possible before we start training on the 30th.
