To whom it may Concern,

My name is Skyler DeAngelo and I am interested in the current available opening. I believe I would be an asset to you, as throughout my life, I have had to reinvent myself and tackle new challenges consistently. This century demands a workforce and employees open to new adventures, open to learning new skills and able to comprehend vast amounts of data and methods of problem solving as problems become more complex alongside rapid levels of technological development.

In my past, I have overcome many challenges in various workplaces, conquering major projects, learning new programs and mastering various techniques from scratch. I have a passion for learning, for developing myself, taking on new responsibilities and I hope to prove that my diverse working background shows that. When working at Premion Digital marketing, I started as a data entry clerk and worked my way up to being the National Orders Supervisor. In this role, I managed a large database in excel called the “Master tracking Document” in a start-up environment that was managing $5 to $20 million dollars’ worth of business every month. Along with using Salesforce that I also had to learn with no prior experience, to manage incoming orders, I rose to the occasion, working with various internal departments and clients to ensure accurate order delivery on projects with many complex and moving parts. While at Imperial Advance, I learned how to use my communication skills to close sales, how to coach businesses on financials and how to best serve the needs of our clients through our working capital lending partners.

In politics, I learned the art of communication, learned the useful skill of working with people, how to lead and how to strategically plan. When I was the Founder and President of my Chapter of Young Americans for Liberty at SUNY Albany, I truly learned what I was made of. I planned over 30 events, hosted a major conference, and my Chapter was awarded the honor of being “Best in the Northeast in 2013” among 120 chapters of YAL. When I knocked on doors in Iowa and Nevada with Concerned American Voters for Rand Paul, I learned the value of retail politics and the benefit of being a good listener. Talking to 1,000s of Americans of various backgrounds, I learned conversational skills, how to meet people “where they are”, by taking all their concerns into account and developed a genuine passion for wanting to help people. When working on the Donald J. Trump campaign in 2016, I learned HTML, digital email marketing and Nationbuilder CRM from scratch proving to myself and staffers, that I had what it takes to be a serious analyst. I managed my first campaign in 2020 for the New York State Assembly and although my candidate Paul Ciurcina Jr. lost, I was able to secure a 30 year high in the Republican vote in the district, using a data focused targeted door knocking campaign that saw over 6,000 doors knocked.

In recent years, I have developed a passion for data and understanding complex issues. To this end, I am currently pursuing and am in the final class of my master’s degree program at CUNY Baruch. At CUNY Baruch, I learned about Multiple Regression analysis and mapping statistics spatially with a program called ARCgis. Wherever this degree eventually takes me, I hope to apply my passion for learning and my ability to look at and use data in any role I am involved in to tackle complex problems. Anything I am not familiar with I can learn, and master and I relish the challenge of being underestimated, rising to the occasion and using any new skills I learned to the greatest affect possible.

I hope that I have proven that I am trainable, flexible and capable applicant, that will provide value to your work environment, and I look forward to working and learning from you.

Thank you and I appreciate your time and consideration,

Skyler Forrest DeAngelo
