Application assistance and overall monitoring of In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Provider’s Orientation processes. Outreach to Providers requesting Registry Orientation to ensure completion of activities. Obtain vitals from Providers such as Identification Records. Prepare and Mail Drug and Alcohol Screenings, Identification Badges and Background Check Live Scans as applicable. Final Review of provider’s orientation and activate once required items have been obtained and cleared or canceled if Provider has not completed enrollment requirements and enrollment activities have expired. Secure PII records from Providers by uploading vitals to IHSS Files. Create Provider case records on the Case Management Information Payroll System (CMIPS II) as applicable. Observe cleared results of Live Scans/Drug and Alcohol Screenings and upload to Provider Orientation Portals. Manage client tickets and follow up with requests for outreach or to initiate Registry Orientation Application to Provider by email.

Assist Recipients of Benefits enrolled in various programs such as Medi-Cal, CalFresh, CalWORKS, and General Assistance. Navigate, monitor, and tend to lobby visits at the Lake Elsinore, Temecula and Perris office locations. Utilize CalSAWS system to identify, organize, update and image various caseloads and the content needed from clients. Answer voicemails on behalf of Eligibility Technicians in my unit who may be unavailable or overwhelmed with phone calls. Mail out all documents and notices to customers regarding their cases in a timely manner. Sort through received mail and image documents submitted by clients into their cases to determine eligibility based on reported changes and other elements. Bridge communication between Eligibility workers and customers when direct communication becomes delayed. See customers in Lobby Booths to relay information based on Journal entries and distributed documents in case file as well as communication with Eligibility workers via Microsoft Teams. Input data from customer applications and pend into CalSAWS while conducting file clearances on each household using the Statewide MEDS application.

Aid with Housing Assessments, Section 8 registration, Social Security Request applications, and locating nearby medical facilities. Assist several social workers with their clients by transferring Section 8 paperwork and Confidential documentation as needed to the proper locations.
