Promoting safety awareness through new employee
orientation
Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, plans and procedures
Monitoring and implementing project specific health, safety & environment program and providing guidance and advice to project Management Team and onsite personnel.
Communicating and coordinating with top management for implementation of HSE Policy, HSE Plans and objectives. To review and formulate HSE Plans as per need.
Implemented accident prevention measures at site in coordination with construction team, responsible for issuing instructions and taking protective measures to prevent accidents at site
Responsible for ensuring the availability of first aid and medical facilities at site
Reporting accidents and incidents as per legal and contract requirements to authorities and employer and responsible for maintaining records, reports and statistics about accidents and incidents at site and health and safety issues
Participating in HSE Meetings with client, Joint HSE Management audit processes communicate the findings and facilitate in the development of improvement plans.
Investigating accidents / incidents analyze the immediate and root causes, proposing remedial actions and ensuring non- reoccurrence through coordination
Administering appropriate safety work practices for the project
Support staff with the identification of environmental aspects and determining the project objectives and target
Conducting risk assessment of operations / activities, suggesting measures to monitor / mitigate the risks. Ensuring implementation of the same
Performs inspections at site work to ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Providing safety supervision for all site activities, especially critical ones
Develop and facilitate safety training and manage tracking of training matrix
Educating all employees on emergency preparedness procedures.
Continuously evaluating project working conditions and safe work practices and if required, develop positive
recommendations for the project
Updated with local & international OH&S rules/ regulations for legal compliance/ surveillance
