WORK EXPERIENCE

Northbay Healthcare System Vacavalley Hospital December, 2008 – April 2021 1000 Nut Tree Road, Vacaville, CA 95687

This is an acute care setting with Level 2 and 3 Trauma. It is also an accredited Heart center. Cath labs, along with open hearts are performed regularly at the Fairfield Campus. My training and ability are in the Emergency Department, Adult ICU, and Medical/Surgical units. Coalinga Regional Medical Center June, 2005 – March 2008 1191 Phelps Ave, Coalinga, CA 93210 559-***-**** This is a small community hospital with an Emergency Department, and a Medical Unit. During my employment here I was one of three Therapists in employment. We would each take a rotation of work/on-call for 24-48 hours each shift. We were solely responsible for all aspects of Respiratory care, as well as Information Technology while on duty.

Here, I was trained and remained certified in intubation. These were also the formative years of my career, where I learned quite a lot of modalities, and “tricks of the trade” These years we were still putting things together to create solutions to problems that only occur occasionally. This experience gave me a solid background in Respiratory care, and has served me well in my creative thinking, and critical thinking skills for the rest of my career. EDUCATION
