A 21-working-days internship that was done by doing an analysis of an offshore helideck structure following the standards of CAP 437 and NORSOK C-004. The proposed project was in the field of fracture mechanics, namely doing simulations on the crack propagation analysis using the XFEM method using an initial semi-elliptical crack that was fully done in the SIMULIA ABAQUS CAE.
