Roles and responsibilities:

Deployment of Junior mechanics in absence of section supervisor

Managing the planned withdrawal of machines for maintenance, repairs and checkups

Diagnosis and analysis of all causes of breakdowns particularly those of operational negligence, nature and suggest remedies

Drawing up schedules of periodical servicing and maintenance of Vehicles

Ensure work is carried out using safe working practices and is completed in accordance with standards and specifications and with the right tools.

Ensure vehicle/equipment availability is maintained to over 75 percent at most times
