I acted as an article clerk and had to consult with dismissed employees and thereafter referred their dispute to either the CCMA, Bargaining Council or do Applications on their behalf to the Labour Court of South Africa. This entailed me drafting all the applications, Do replying affidavits if the matter was apposed and all the necessary documents and affidavits. It was then also my responsibility that all the documents be served according to law and that court files be kept up to date and in order. I furthermore appeared and represented clients in the respective institutes. I was eventually sent to Braamfontein to manage another branch of the company which I did.
