Planning and Execution of maintenance activities in rotary and static equipment of plant & ensure all the jobs needed to be carried out based on priority.

Modifying, Fitting new parts or equipment and making sure equipment are safe reliable and performing effectively and efficiently.

Liaises with Operations personnel, if required, to establish work priorities. Follow up with Inspection personnel to obtain necessary repair work list and procedures to help in job preparation.

Manpower handling and work allocation to subordinates and monitoring their activities.

Planning of materials, spares, tools and tackles and other resources. Creating critical spare, Tool & Equipment and Joint Integrity lists in accordance with job requirements.

Supervision, monitoring and coordinating of all maintenance activity work progress and quality of Project work, commissioning plant machinery and systems as per approved specifications.

To monitor and identifying the upsets/ deviations & take necessary actions to avoid further unnecessary tripping/ breakdown.

Knowledge of emergency scenario like power failure, utility failure, fire, gas leak, breakdown etc. and communicate with operation team and take safe plant shutdown if required.

Able to coordinate critical works (including hot work, working at height and working in confined spaces) where high risk is involved.

Responsible for operation of Mechanical assets & systems for maximizing operational performance.

Involved in all phases of Shutdown like pre shutdown and post shutdown in Heavy Oil complex like CDU, VDU, DCU, Utilities Complex like Cooling Tower, ETP, RODM, RWTP, Offsite Complex Operations like Refinery tank storage.

Final handover of shutdown activities and documents.

General fabrication, machining, hydraulic bolt tensioning and bolt torqueing.

Read and interpret blueprint, technical drawings, schematics and computer generated reports. HAVING HANDS ON EXPERIENCE IN

Hands on experience of Mechanical Decoking/Pigging of furnace and fired heater tubes in a process units like Delay Coker unit, Residual desulphurization unit, Vacuum heaters, Naphtha heaters and crude heaters in refineries.

Perform calculation of pressure part thickness(s), radiant & convection tube support design calculation, burner and steam piping wall thickness calculations for decoking.

Experience of Heat exchanger repairing, re-tubing, expanding, welding, shell repair, plugging, bundle extraction, re- insertion and cleaning by high pressure water & inspection for high pressure vessels, heat exchangers, pipeline.

Maintenance of all major rotary and static equipment’s like heat exchangers, Steam turbine, fin fan coolers, columns, and pressure vessels, Reactor, Furnace, Vessel Column tray, pumps, fans, compressor, turbine etc.

Review and recommend improvements of all SOP procedures and perform troubleshoot on all plant activities and resolve all issue and assist facilities manager to implement all changes.

Design all new process to reduce cycle time for all CNC programs and resolve all issue in same and provide training to all operators to develop new CNC programs and set machines accordingly.

Responsible for maintain safety and 5S at workplace while carrying out maintenance activity.

Responsible for continues running of equipment/machinery, plant units and keeping oncoming Engineers informed to the current status of plant machinery and planning for the next shift.

Maintaining log sheets, logbook, operator shift schedule, operational data, monthly datasheet, and documentation and Prepare maintenance reports, Daily progressive report, Monthly report by collecting, analyzing and summarizing.

Follow the procedure of work permits to maintenance personnel for carrying out major/minor maintenance activities, coordinating with maintenance personnel to ensure the work is done on time and the permit gets closed.
