Please find enclosed a copy of my resume in response to a posting for a Technical Project/Program Manager that appeared on the DICE.com web site.

I am currently employed by the Department of Defense, DCMA (Defense Contract Management Agency) as an IT Specialist (APPSW) 22010-12. My current duties require that I provide surveillance, insight and evaluation of the policies and procedures implemented by Military Contractors in the Central NY region. During my time at DCMA I have completed my two-year training program in less than one year and have received my certification in SPDP (Software Professional Development Program) and DAWIA (Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act) Level 1& 2. I was one of ten IT Specialist chosen from all of DCMA to attend the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) training at Ft. Belvoir, VA in July of 2019. I was awarded the Anthony Acerra Defender of Freedom Award for implementing a process to allow contractors to meet contractual requirements during COVID 19 and continue to provide quality systems to the War Fighter on schedule.

Prior to DCMA I was with POMCO as a Facilities Manager / Operational Project Manager responsible for Facilities, Security and Telecommunications. While employed at POMCO I was responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of seven buildings within New York state and California, as well as the security of those buildings and the employees in them. As an Operational Project Manager I was responsible for the deployment and administration of the VOIP phone systems and supporting applications in support of a Call Center staffed with 170+ agents both in house and remote. Successful projects within the Call Center include the implementation of Call Recording, IVR, Quality Audit, and key Metric reporting systems.

Prior to POMCO I was employed as a Sr. Project Manager with Computer Science Corporation of Falls Church VA. I was assigned to the United Technologies, Carrier account based in Syracuse NY. My responsibilities include managing multiple medium to large scale projects from proposal to project closer. My project portfolio consists of an average of eighteen to twenty-four projects at any one time, including several large international projects.

I have worked for ten years as a contractor involved in several successful contracts with leading telecommunication companies, such as Lucent Technologies, Global Crossing LTD., and Bell-Atlantic as an Implementation Team Leader. I have also worked on two successful contracts with Waste Management that allowed them to streamline their fleet and reduce routes as well as centralize their Point of Sales systems in their landfills and transfer stations throughout North America. These assignments have allowed me to gain hands-on experience with the full implementation life cycle of a large-scale software / hardware installation projects in a variety of industries.

Areas where I feel I am qualified for this position are as follows:

Graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Dual Bachelor of Science degree in Information Management and Information Studies from Syracuse University, with a concentration in Project Management and System Analysis.

Cybersecurity Shield of Excellence (9/17/2018 DCMA)

I have had exposure to Quality Management principles; Six Sigma while contracted to Lucent and DCMA.

Over 20 years in Leadership and Supervisory experience. I have taken the lead on every assignment or project I have been a part of.

Over 20 years’ experience in Project Management and Project Implementation. I have hands on experience in Project planning, leading and reporting metrics.

Over ten years’ experience in vendor/contractor management to include reporting performance and financial metrics, risk management and processes.

Over three years’ experience as a Facility Manager being responsible for the maintenance and security of multiple properties.
