Title: Senior Consultant – Virtualization & Cloud Location- Westport, CT/Remote

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key member of one of the world’s largest Asset Management firm’s IT infrastructure’s Platforms, with the ability to thrive and perform well under pressure with a very high emphasis on Security mindedness in a mission critical trading environment on a day-to-day basis.

Responsible for Planning, Implementation, Architecture, Provisioning, Upgrades, Migration, Documentation & Decommission of Client’s environments consisting of a very large implementation of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) on Dell VXRail and Dell PowerFlex servers with VMware vCenter Servers, ESXi, vSAN, SRM, NSX, vRops, vRLI in a Dell VXRail offering spanning multiple sites

Act as a primary point of contact with VMware & Dell Account groups, conducting weekly touch point meetings with Dell TAMs, addressing pending issues with VXRail environments.

Single handedly managed a large-scale migration / upgrade project spanning a year and a half, involving Dell VXRack to VCF on VXRail conversion across all client’s environments leveraging Dell & VMware support as needed.

Experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) implementations with VMware NSX-T, Logical Switching, DFW, DLR, Edge Networking, NAT, DHCP etc.
