Experience

Santa Clara County Custody Support Assistant July 1996– September 2021 Retired I was hired by the County of Santa Clara, July 22, 1996. Started with the Dept of Corrections until the Sheriff Dept took over in the early 2000’s. As a Custody Support Assistant some duties consisted of: Operation of controlled doors, elevators, and inmate phones. Proper intake of inmate property, clothes and money. Worked alongside officers in housing modules, escort outside contractors on the facility, as well supervise contractors through their scheduled contract. Responsible for supervision of the Public Service program as well as the Weekend Work Program. Possessed a county vehicle license as well as a bus license to drive PSP and WWP to assigned worksites. Worked in two facilities, one maximum security facility and the other a medium security facility. Along with 25yrs of service, accumulated several hours of STC in various areas, some that include blood pathogens, sexual harassment, PREA, HIPPA training. Raychem Corporation Electrical Mechanical Assembler January 1996 – July 1996 I was hired through Kelly Temporary Services. I was an electrical mechanical assembler. Raychem Corporation in Palo Alto, CA assembled telecom boxes for domestic and international communities. Followed flow and production managers tasks by assembling miniplex / maxiplex telecom boxes.

Abbott Diagnostics Electrical Mechanical Assembler June 1995 – January 1996 I was hired through Kelly Temporary Services. I was an electrical mechanical assembler. Abbott Diagnostics assembled machines used for those patients who were on Dialysis. Followed blueprints brought forward by Abbott Engineers. Worked closely with production supervisors as well as other Kelly temp employees. Abbott is now the first innovators of one of the first Covid-19 home tests.
