I was responsible for maintaining audio systems that had been installed by Sonics Associates as well as projection equipment in Imax theaters in the U.S. and Canada. These systems included the aforementioned audio systems as well as different types of Imax projection systems. Controls for these projection
systems were either relay logic or PLC types. The PLC based systems utilized Omron modular type 24vdc controls where I would troubleshoot and repair or replace defective modules. Systems also included three phase powered rectifiers, compressors, water pumps and associated plumbing, contactors, filters, etc.
