PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

IPU Doris Martinez Mejias in San Luis, Santiago de Cuba in the position of Professor of Biology Senior High School and Special School from September 2005 to July 2011. My work was with children and adolescents with mental retardation, retarded psychic development, autistic, language disorders, behavioral disorders, and physical motor limitations.

Behavior Analysis Resources and Education, Inc (BARE) in the position of Behavior Assistant (RBT) in Miami Dade County from April 2017 to the present.

A1A Behavioral Health in the position of RBT in Miami Dade County from March 2021 to the present.

My work is with children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), depressive disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, behavioral problems, and deficits in communication and social skills. I provide services to assist recipients in learning new or increasing existing functionally equivalent replacement skills for identified challenging behaviors or to learn other behaviors that are directly related to existing challenging behaviors. Collect data related to the efficacy of the treatment plan. Implement treatment plans based on results of observations, functional analysis, functional behavior assessment, and other assessment practices designed by BCBAs.
