I started out my professional career being a flight attendant for Northwest airlines. Working as a flight attendant helped me to become adaptable with change and knowledgable about the travel industry. We had a high level of responsibility ensuring the safety of each passenger and the aircraft. Safety manuals were apart of our job responsilibty and we had to keep them updated as well as be aware of any changes. Working as a flight attendent helped me to become self motivated enough to start a company with my husband. Owning a company takes a lot of ambition, ability to self learn and to adapt to changes within the economy. At this time I am looking to expand my skills. My husband and I have started a transportation company named Liberty Transporation for the past 12 years.My job responsibilities have included coordinating rides for clients, working with insurance companies for reimbursement, billing clients, communicating with Case managers to organize transportation to physician appointments, as well as driving clients to their destination as needed. My strong work ethic has made this company successful and we have adapted to the change in climate post Covid 19.
