Sr. Software/Systems Engineer at Cooper River Technology. Boston, MA (9/2020 - 7/2023) CRT is an R&D technology company specializing in high-performance trading systems and data modeling. Recently, I have learnt and been using Julia (https://julialang.org/) for R&D, market-data, order-flow research and database reports.
* R&D Cryptocurrency Trading System in Julia, using ARIMA, and other predictions algorithms.
* R&D penny-stock trading strategies, and refactoring the Julia code to C
* Implemented database in Redis for timeseries, and MySQL.
* Worked on building a Linux kernel compiled specifically for our needs, minimal Linux for optimal latency. We made it based on Busy Box, Void and Alpine Linux as sources for our own Linux kernel. I implemented QEMU virtual machines for debugging and testing the new kernels.
