I obtained my bachelor's degree in psychology from Wilkes University in 2007 and worked in the mental health field for almost ten years before starting my dental career. Since then, I have worked per diem in periodontist's office where I completed one of my clinical rotations before starting my full-time job at the Department of Corrections. While there, I volunteered at the Hope Center in Luzerne PA for a year as a dental assistant assisting with medically necessary extractions for individuals without insurance. In 2019, while working full time, I commuted to Harcum College near Philadelphia on Saturdays to obtain my EFDA certificate. I love the dental field and am always looking to learn more.
